Activities 101 is a great introduction to the field of activities. It is especially beneficial for Activity Assistants and Front-Line staff which focuses on providing engaging programs for elders in various long-term-care communities. Topics covered in this course include:


  • Overview of the Aging Client Population
  • Communicating for Success
  • Behavior Management
  • The Therapeutic Process and Activities
  • Group Activity Engagement
  • One-to-One Activity Engagement


The course is 10 hours and counts for 10 Continuing Education credits for professionals. It is taught remotely through 5 weekly sessions from via Zoom® Online Meeting Platform.
