Activities 101

Activities 101 is a great introduction to the field of activities. It is especially beneficial for Activity Assistants and Front-Line staff which focuses on providing engaging programs for elders in various long-term-care communities.

Care Planning 

The Care Planning Intensive is a 5-week online course to help professionals build and develop their care planning skills to write dynamic, person-centered documentation including assessments, care plans, and quarterly notes which paint the most accurate picture of the resident's experience.

Reiki First Degree

Reiki is a hands-on energy healing technique developed in Japan to encourage relaxation and stress relief to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness. This course teaches students how to use this technique to promote resident relaxation and sensory stimulation.


NCCAP’s Montessori Home Engagement Course allows you to apply the philosophy of care championed by Dr. Maria Montessori when caring for an older person in the home setting.
